“Everyday Objects”

I like to analyse daily objects, tad differently.

When it comes to analysing products, my inner creative child gets excited and with versatile perspectives, it evaluates and calculates its design affordances, interactivity with humans. Here are some of my analytics.

Let me know if we share the same interests!

Dish Washing Gloves

Yes! These gloves are everything. One might wonder, these are just normal silicon gloves, what is so special in them? Well, I like doing my dishes but the only ugly part is getting your hand soaked in washing liquid and cleansing the leftovers, but with these gloves on - you just have to pour dish wash liquid on gloves and start scrubbing dishes reaching all the corners of utensils.

To me, this design is an economical design. It does not have to be more than it is and most importantly - gets the job done

Lint Roller

The name says it all! Do they just clean the lint off the clothes or they’re just sticky papers to remove lint and pet hair from clothing? One single product, but has multiple usages. Right from cleaning lint, hair to cleaning glitters from face after party. Yes, I’ve tried that, and worked wonders. Moreover, they’re economical and handy.

To me, this design is honest in its purpose

Clohex Bottle (Dispenser design)

Often when it comes to quick mouthwash, how much mouthwash is too much mouthwash? Does it depend on how much garlic you’ve consumed? This product bottle has a generous dispenser attached to its neck makes it viable to get the job done in the right amount of time. The only effort you have to put in is to press the bottle to push up the liquid. Efficient, right? Also, say no to plastic.

To me, this design is self-explanatory and effortless

Glass bottle (with HANDLE)

Growing up, we’ve always had a glass water bottle on dining. Yes, it is a ruckus when it slips down to the floor and shatters into tiny shiny little pieces of glass. But, this design of the bottle with the handle could not get any or rather close to perfectionism. By incorporating the handle, it raises the confidence in people to use the product worry-less-ly.

To me, this design is like finding the long-lost piece of a puzzle

Sloped Soap Dish

If you are a soap user, you now know what to include in your bathroom. The era of mushy soaps comes to an end with this highly thought product. With the century lasting problem with soaps, this product's simplicity and affordances make it explicit and we can say it is an articulate design. It expresses that, with little attention which was taken for granted for years, can immaculately change the lives of people.

To me, this design is brilliant as it is simple, accessible and infallible
